Rotoflow achieves momentous safety milestone.
A milestone worth celebrating—and a reminder that safety excellence is something we earn every day through planning, teamwork, and the courage to speak up.
Rotoflow is proud to recognize an important safety milestone: 45 years since our last Lost Time Incident (LTI). That achievement reflects generations of employees and leaders who chose to do the job the right way: planning the work, recognizing hazards, using the right controls, following disciplined procedures, training and looking out for one another. Today, we celebrate the milestone while recommitting ourselves to the mindset that prevents incidents in the first place: no task is so urgent that it can’t be done safely.
What enabled Rotoflow to accomplish 45 years of LTI-free performance:
- Strong fundamentals: clear procedures, training and qualification, and job planning before work starts
- Hazard recognition: identifying what could hurt someone (energy sources, suspended loads, pinch points, line-of-fire exposures, slips/trips/falls) and putting controls in place
- Use of permits and lockout/tagout when required, verifying isolation before work begins
- Right PPE for the hazard (not as a substitute for engineering or administrative controls)
- Good housekeeping and safe pathways to reduce trips, falls, and struck-by risks
- Equipment discipline: using the correct tools and rated lifting/rigging devices, inspecting before use, and stopping if something doesn’t look right
- Speaking up: employees and contractors empowered to pause work and ask questions
In environments involving high-speed rotating equipment, stored energy, precision lifting, complex assembly and customer-site service work; these fundamentals are critical to successful execution and returning home safety. For customers, that safety mindset reinforces confidence across every phase of a project, from design review and factory testing to installation, commissioning and long-term service.
